“I’m Watch”.. the smartwatch powered by Android.


The operating system Android, apart from mobiles and tablets, now can be found in watches! The Italian company Blue Sky announced a new watch called I’m Watch. The name,we speculate that is selected to remind the users that they can use the device to watch the time, among all the other functions it offers. In fact,  I'm Watch is an Android smartwatch which acts both as a connected display for your smartphone and also as a wristwatch , allowing the user, after linking it with the smartphone, to make calls but also to install applications!




                The device was demonstrated at ARM TechCon 2011 show in Santa Clara, California and has been shown at CES 2012. Pre-orders have been accepted since early 2011.

         The watch has built-in featuresI’m Watch, has a 1.54 inches  touch screen and an internal memory of 4 GB. Furthermore, the user can use it as a mp3 player, after connecting with headphones into the 3,5 mm base. The wireless communications with mobile device technology is ensured by Bluetooth, while its processor is the IMX233  at 64 megabytes. The built-in battery provides 24 hours of continuous operation by enabled Bluetooth.
